Why I built it
I kept getting in my own way with terminal management, todo tracking and the like, and I didn't trust how other bots connect into home resources. So I built my own.
What it is
Each bot has its own profile and a long-running chat that streams, survives reloads and restarts, and takes images and text files. Bots can search their own past chats.
Sign in to ChatGPT, Grok or Vercel with a device code, add keys for OpenAI, AI Gateway, OpenRouter or OpenCode, or point it at a local server like Ollama or LM Studio.
A library keeps one copy of every file across chats, searchable across all bots or one.
Add-ons cost nothing until you turn them on: skills from fxbot's picks or skills.sh, and remote MCP servers you can limit to specific tools. Plugins are next.
It installs as an app on phones and desktops, with offline support.
Try it

$ sudo tailscale serve --bg 8787The second line makes it reachable from your other devices over Tailscale.
Honest caveats
- Built for one person on hardware they own: a home server, a small VPS or a desktop.
- There is no account system. Anyone who can reach it sees every bot and chat, so keep it on a private network.
- Debian or Ubuntu with systemd. Node 22.18 or newer is installed for you if it's missing.
