Remember rest day is training day. 🏋️

Any athlete will tell you that rest/recovery days are just as important as active training days. Time for our bodies to recover and spend just as much energy into rest.

Theres a concept around this called "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟑 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭," which was coined by bookseller/river runner Ken Sanders. They noticed a major change in group members after a three day rafting trip. 🛶 So it takes about 3 days in nature or away from technology / stresses for your brain 🧠 to relax.

☕️ I have personally experienced this when taking vacations and actually disconnecting. And have taken this veterans day weekend as a chance to force myself in the evenings to disconnect. So we've invited family over, broke bread together, and shared in some board games.

𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. Realize that always grinding and driving can be counterintuitive to your success you are looking for. Make sure to take breaks, sit back, and let your brain rest. Then you can come back in better than before and really 🏏 knock it out of the park.
