When looking at the triangle and someone who is in Victim/Persecutor/Rescuer Ego State, they are very much looking outward. We can't affect the people they feel are causing them to be in that Ego State, so during our conversations we have to bring them back to the conversation "here and now".
The other person is a Ghost, and we can't coach them.
The best question I have found to do this with is, "What is the REAL challenge HERE for YOU?".
